One thing I appreciated most was how easy it was to get around. Most of the major attractions are located within a reasonable driving distance, so we spent less time in the car and more time enjoying each destination together.
Chocolate Hills was even more impressive in person than I expected. Although there are quite a few stairs leading to the viewpoint, the climb wasn’t too difficult, and the breathtaking panoramic view at the top made every step worthwhile.
The Loboc River Cruise was another enjoyable experience. The buffet itself wasn’t particularly memorable, but the live music and traditional Filipino dance performances created a wonderful atmosphere.
If I ever return, I would probably rent one of the smaller boats nearby instead. They follow a similar route, stop at beautiful photo spots, and offer a quieter experience.
I also loved visiting the Philippine Tarsier Sanctuary. These tiny animals are incredibly cute, but visitors should remember to stay quiet and never use flash photography.
The only downside compared to my first visit was that prices seemed noticeably higher. As Bohol has become one of the Philippines’ most popular tourist destinations, travel costs have naturally increased over the years.
